Ian Lillie is joining the USC-Caltech MD-PhD dual degree program! Congrats!

Postbac Ian Lillie will begin the USC-Caltech MD-PhD dual degree program this summer, where he is interested in understanding how molecular structure-function relationships can be used to engineer biomaterials that can interact with cells and living tissue. He will spend the next two years in preclinical training before pursuing a PhD in biomedical engineering or a related field. Following an additional two years of clinical training, he aims to build a career as a physician-scientist bridging materials science and patient care.
