Robertson-Anderson receives the Society of Rheology Distinguished Service Award

On October 28, The Society of Rheology President surprised Robertson-Anderson at the Annual Awards Banquet with The Society of Rheology Distinguished Service Award. This is only the 11th time this award has been given out since it was instituted in 1985 to recognize exceptional service to The Society. It is awarded infrequently at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

She received the award for ‘her tireless drive and selfless dedication in working, first with partners at AIP and then with Society membership and volunteers, to bring the new Society of Rheology webpage (it’s one year old!) to a state of dynamism and vitality. The reach of the efforts associated with the SOR webpage development have brought Rae’s ideas and energy into a whole host of Society activities. As a result, Rae’s own dynamism and vitality benefit all of us. Thank you Rae’
